Food and wine itinerary of Florence with Florenceforanyone

With Florenceforanyone you can book two types of food and wine tours in Florence: the morning and the afternoon.

Choose the option you prefer according to your tastes and how you want to organize your day!

Morning tour

The food and wine tour of Florence will make you live the experience of local Florentine cuisine starting from breakfast with brioche and cappuccino to continue with mixed crostini, schiacciata with cold cuts, coccoli and ice cream. All accompanied by different types of good red wine.

We will stop in one of the most historic and prestigious cafes, a stone’s throw from Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Museum, to continue on foot, through narrow streets and medieval villages, inside the Florentine soul where, among historic shops and artisans at work, we will try the flavors of freshly baked schiacciata with local cold cuts and slices of bread flavored with delicious condiments.

All made in Florence.

And, to conclude, a good ice cream will take us back to the city center, between the Cathedral and the shopping streets.

Afternoon tour

The afternoon food tour of Florence is an experience that combines the flavors of traditional local cuisine and art. Walking through medieval and Renaissance villages, you will be able to taste local specialties: from the famous ribollita to coccoli, from Tuscan crostini to Florentine Schiacciata accompanied by delicious local cured meats. To enrich the tasting, an excellent red wine from the classic Chianti.

The meeting is in Piazza della Repubblica. The route winds through the historic center with stops in four typical restaurants of ancient Florence. Here you can delight your palate with pecorino cheese, assorted croquettes and traditional desserts such as cream and chocolate donuts. The experience ends with an authentic artisanal ice cream made in Italy.
